A pair of newlyweds, fresh from a fairy tale wedding, are struck by a very modern fear: how will they know that they will always love each other? With the help of a wizard, an international road trip, and one very special pair of underwear, the couple finds true happiness where they least expect it. “The Charm” is a lyrical and whimsical piece based on the story “The Talisman” by Hans Christian Andersen.

What starts as an epic struggle between the nerd and the princess quickly escalates into a name-calling, hair-pulling, low-blowing feud between two natural enemies. Tickets now on sale for Minne-Musicals, produced in partnership with Hennepin Theatre Trust and The Chambers Hotel, Sep 10-12, 2021.

Minne-Musicals is a free-form, roving theatrical experience. Audiences will have the opportunity to see five 10-minute musicals – at their own pace, in whatever order they choose.

Performances are at The Hennepin (900 Hennepin Ave.) and The Chambers Hotel (901 Hennepin Ave.) in Downtown Minneapolis. They start at 6:30pm and continue until about 10pm.

TICKET OPTIONS*

FREE Pass (Suggested $20 donation)
Those with a Free Pass can get admission to any of the musicals, as long as there is space available, starting with the first performances at 6:30pm and ending with the last performances at 9:50pm. However, Free ticketholders are advised to arrive between 6:15 and 7:30pm to make the most use of the pass and for the best chance at seeing all five musicals. Check in at The Hennepin. VIP Pass – $40
With your VIP Pass, you get a set start time and guaranteed admission with preferred seating to all 5 of the shows PLUS an MMT gift AND a voucher good for a drink at The Hennepin. VIP Pass purchasers will be contacted by an MMT representative with more details regarding the check-in and redemption of their purchase the week of the performance. VIPs have preferred seating at all five musicals with a check-in time of 7:00pm at The Hennepin – and should be done with all five shows by 9:15pm.
