A hipster rom-com spin on Faust. When a down-on-his-luck record shop owner is in danger of losing his family’s store, a mysterious stranger comes with an offer – and it’s not for vintage vinyl. With its refreshing and funny take on the brokenhearted, this eccentric romantic comedy sneaks in some serious metaphysical and philosophical quandaries amongst its toe-tapping tunes: the eclectic and modern score has been infused with the influences of Elvis Costello, Stephen Sondheim, The Beatles, and Brian Wilson. Directed by Vanessa Brooke Agnes with Music Direction by Brenda Varda.

While we encourage all members of the community to seek COVID-19 vaccination and boosters recommended by public health to decrease the likelihood of serious illness, we are not planning to verify vaccination status for most performances of “Analog and Vinyl.” You can find a vaccine provider by clicking this link: (https://mn.gov/covid19/vaccine/find-vaccine/locations/index.jsp)

To accommodate our audience members who feel more comfortable attending events where all attendees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, we have designated our Sunday performances for vaccinated guests only and will be asking attendees to show a photo ID and proof of COVID-19 vaccination (physical or electronic) and at least one booster or a negative PCR test dated taken within 72 hours of the performance. We respectfully ask unvaccinated guests to select alternate performance dates and will work to exchange tickets for these performances previously purchased for an alternative date.

The performers in the show are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will perform unmasked.

If you are feeling ill or have any COVID-related or flu-like symptoms, STAY HOME. Feel free to contact us for options (tickets@aboutmmt.org) to seek tickets for an alternative performance.
