The Minneapolis Musical Theatre has a unique mission: to provide community participation in high quality, affordable musical theatre which has never been - or is very rarely - seen in the Twin Cities.

In order to achieve our mission and - in particular - keep the quality of productions high while keeping ticket prices low, we need your help. The financial support of those who believe in the work of the Minneapolis Musical Theatre is critical. In fact, as a non-profit theater, gifts from individuals accounts for forty percent of our annual operating budget.

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, your gift is fully tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Where does the money go? – Directly to the show!  Over the years, more than 90% of all donations have gone directly to production costs.

During our most recently completed season, 5,609 audience members attended MMT productions and over 100 actors, artists, musicians and technicians came together to create these experiences.  We have strived to minimize administrative costs and relied upon an all-volunteer administrative staff and board of directors. We need additional donor support so we can obtain the human and other resources we need to sustain our outstanding work and to begin to “Move Forward” into the next two decades. 

Our Board has committed to at least double its financial support this year to help us accomplish these goals and we’re asking you to do the same.  There are so many exciting things we have left to accomplish as an organization.  These include development of new works, joint productions with other leading arts organizations, and improving production quality.  We can’t do it without you!
